School Pool

Did you know it’s Walk to School Week and Bike Month? Kirkland is supporting Juanita Elementary in encouraging students to walk, bike or carpool to school. The purpose of this is to help reduce the number of cars on the road in Kirkland and to promote exercise.

There will be prizes each day during bike to school week and a drawing towards the end of the month. Plus, have your child fill out one of the School Pool Calendars that went home last week or pick another one up outside of the school office, turn it in and the school will earn money.

Our staff and teachers are our Stars!  What a fun surprise walking through the halls and seeing all their personal stars on the Walk of Fame and their specialized posters. 🎥 Plus they started off the day right with a yummy parfait bar and later today will be treated to massages (thank you Meadows Massage). 🌟

Juanita Mariner’s Night

Our Seattle Mariners may have not won the game, but our Juanita El. Choir knocked it out of the park. Their singing of our National Anthem was beautiful and made our school community proud.

Special thanks to Mrs. Paige and Mrs. Kohlwes for making this event a reality. Also to all our chaperones and families that participated.
